KEWR was jam-packed! There were almost no gates left as some passenger planes were parked next to cargo planes. Almsot all planes were COA with only one other ASA747! Talk about domination! Planes were taking off and landing every 45 SECS or so. I slowed down on approach with traffic ahead of me landing on the same RWY22R and they were quite close to me. |

This was the worst ATC experience ever. In 3 KEWR ATC ATIS it talked about arrival runways so I asked EWR_GND which one was doing Newark Arrivals. He told me NY_CAM_APP. Then, that controller told me he wasn't dealing with KEWR arrivals and to contact unicom. Then when I was about to touch down on 4R 150ft above when EWR_TWR said to abort landing. I was then told that NY_NWK_APP was dealing with KEWR arrivals. Then, this guy told me that I contacted EWR_TWR again! |
