Pilots Now Awarded Certificates of Achievement
Atlantic Sun Airways announced this afternoon that they will start awarding pilot certificates of achievement upon promotion to each new rank.
The certificates have been created by ASA's Orlando hub manager, Phillip Tan. Tan said, "These certificates were inspired by the certificates from Flight Simulator. With every promotion to the next rank, pilots will earn a certificate with a background which shows an aircraft they are ranked to fly. These certificates are much like a collector's item for our pilots... something for them to aim for. This, I hope, will motivate our new pilots to start their first flight and aim for the certificate."
The certificates will be used to reward and motivate pilots and to help encourage pilot participation.
